Alles war scheiße gut!!!!

...war der Kommentare eines Kindes zum Rugby Summer Camp. Obwohl dem eigentlich nicht viel hinzuzufügen ist, will ich hier anstatt eines Berichtes weitere Statements zusammenstellen und hoffe, dass alle die,die nicht dabei waren, auch so einen kleinen Einblick gewinnen können!

 

 

Nina 12:

Ich fand das Rugby Camp sehr gut :D
Das Essen war lecker
Die Betreuer waren nett ...
aber am besten war das Training :) In dem man sehr viel gelernt hat ;)
Die Programme am Abend waren auch cool; am besten hat mir da der Film gefallen :D

Dieter:

Wie schon mehrmals beschrieben war das Camp einfach nur großartig. Viel mehr kann man kaum aus diesen Tagen machen.
Organisation, Gasttrainer, Betreuung und Mitarbeiter im Trainerteam und vor allem die Kinder und Jugendlichen waren toll. Auch mein Adoptivsohn Marco hat sich vorbildlich verhalten, darauf war ich besonders Stolz ;-)
Schön, dass auch der Trainerkurs so erfolgreich war.

Vielen Dank an alle, für mich war es in jeder Hinsicht eine Bereicherung

Zu meinem kurzen Besuch am Mittwochnachmittag hätte ich doch besser meine alten Rugby-Klamotten mitgebracht: beim Anblick der Nachwuchs-SpielerInnen, die gerade begeistert eine Mischung aus Brennball & Rugby spielten, hat es mich schon ein wenig in den Füßen gejuckt... Selbst vom immer stärker werdenden Regen ließ sich niemand ernsthaft beeindrucken – im Gegenteil: auf nassem Rasen schlittert man schließlich besonders gut! Schon die Geräuschkulisse zeugte von großem Spaß: durch den prasselnden Regen waren immer wieder Anfeuerungs-Rufe, fröhliches Gelächter und aufgeregtes Quieken zu hören. Erst der Geruch der Burger, die frisch vom Grill kamen, konnte die Summer-CamperInnen für eine kurze Pause runter vom Platz, rauf auf die Terrasse locken – danach ging es frisch gestärkt in kleinen Grüppchen wieder ab auf den Rasen, um weiter zu kicken, für den „bunten Abend“ zu proben oder den Badminton-Schläger zu schwingen. Ein paar Kinder zog es auch hoch hinaus: gut gesichert kletterten manche hoch in die Bäume, um sich das Camp mal von oben anzusehen. Alles in allem scheint das Camp – mal wieder – ein voller Erfolg gewesen zu sein, auch die vielen Fotos sprechen da für sich, und es wäre schön, wenn der eine oder die andere Nachwuchs-SpielerIn dauerhaft am Rugby-Ball bliebe!

The 2010 Summer Rugby Camp was an excelelent expercience and a great time shared by all i would like to thank all the kids for their attendence and willeness in particpating in all excersices and games. I would also like to thank the Ospreys development coaches for their attendance and helping develop junior rugby in the Cologne region.

I would like to give a huge thankyou to the organisers and the men and ladies from ASV Koln for a great camp and all their hard work before, during and after without these people and their support this would not be possible and i cant wait to attend the 2011 summer rugby camp.

Gedanken zum Rugby Summer Camp 2010 in Köln:
 
- war anfangs sehr heiß, dann perfektes Rugby-Wetter, 
 
- für die heißen Tage war extra ein Pool angeschafft worden,
 
- fand auf einer sehr schönen im grünen gelegenen Sportanlage statt,
  die wie gemacht für solche ein Ferienlager erscheint,
 
- von den Betreuern wurde meiner Meinung nach genau der richtige
  Mittelweg zwischen "Laufenlassen" und Reglementierung der Kinder und
  Jugendlichen getroffen,
 
- zu großer Arbeitsaufwand für die Organisatoren, Helfer und Trainer,
  nachher gibt es nächstes Jahr kein Camp mehr :( 
  ... es müssen mehr mithelfen ...
 
- Super Organisation: Essen immer pünktlich, Training immer pünktlich,
  Essen lecker und reichlich, nettes Rahmenprogramm
 
- gerne wieder!

Mir hat der bunte Abend gefallen und überhaupt die ganze Woche, nicht gefallen haben mir die Ameisen im Zelt.

The camp was a wonderful experience for all involved and gave us the opportunity to develop rugby as well as meet some fantastic people that without them and their hard work such camps would never be able to succeed. All of the people that we met were very friendly, helpful and they are a credit to ASV, all that I can add is to say thank you for your generous hospitality and giving me the chance to meet so many wonderful people.

Das Training war sehr schön die Trainer waren sehr nett. Alles war schön, außer das wir ein paar Verletzte hatten das Essen könnte besser sein aber sonst war alles okay .

Dana:

Das Rugby Summercamp 2010 war auch dieses Jahr wieder ein voller Erfolg!!
Tolle Kinder, großartige Trainer und gute Stimmung untereinander verliehen dem Ereignis einen tollen Charakter.
Von Ankunft der Kinder Montag morgens bis zum Abbau der Zelte Freitag Nachmittag hatten die Betreuer und vor allem Johanna alles fest im Griff und doch war es nicht immer ganz einfach allen gerecht zu werden und alles unter einen Hut zu bekommen.
Besondere Highlights waren für mich die beiden Erwachsenentrainings bei denen man super viel lernen konnte, die Karaokenacht mit den walisischen Trainern, den Betreuern und Spielern im Museum und vor allem der Partymarathon mit allen von Donnerstag bis Sonntag.
Es war einfach eine tolle Zeit, die ich nicht vergessen werde und die sich hoffentlich nächstes Jahr wiederholen wird!!

The Rugby Summer Camp was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, in all aspects.
Truly Compentent and Animated Development Children Coaches from the Ospreys Region in Tom Cole, Damian Williams and Sophie Francis, with solid supporting roles from Dieter Hanf, Marc Brüggen and Katja Kanzler.
Excellent Organisation and Leadership of the Camp from Johanna Metternich, Esther Bieler, Annika Bembennek, Dana Kleine-Grefe and Melissa Paul plus many more.
Co-operative Children that smiled, played and learnt more and more about rugby.
The IRB Level 1 Coaching Participants were attentive and concentrated as they developed understanding and principles of coaching the best game in the world .. Franzi Kania, Mareike Kalkowski, Jan-Philipp Gerbecks, Florian Rossol, Malte Schlott, Nadine Beister, Norbert Lipp, Neil Townsend, Neville Granby, Kevin Kolatzik, Sonja Strohsahl, Craig Bailey, Micheail Kessler, Ben Ponczek and Tom Wulf. Congratulations to all the successful candidates, and the others will certainly received the necessary support to reach the IRB standards.

Firstly I'd like to thank everyone that made my time in koln such an enjoyable experience both on and off the field! The children were extremelly polite and had a willingness to learn and as a result their rugby standards improved dramatically! The senior players who took part in the sessions were just as eager to learn, and that willingness showed in how quickly they were able to take our ideas and demonstrate them in an accurate and effective manner! I wish both the senior men and women the best of luck in the forthcoming season! To steve and leah I personally thank you for your company and hardwork in getting us to koln and home again in one piece! To dieter, katia and mark thank you for all your hard work and support with the deliver and coaching of the children, not to mention your contribution to our time after hours! And finally to Kevin, Anika, Dana, Craig and Johanna your support and company made the experience so memorable! I really enjoyed every moment we were all together, and I hope that sometime in the near future we will be sharing each others company once again!

There´s not much more to add - the whole week was a great experience; support among organisers, trainers, kids and everyone involved was EXCELLENT!! Thanks to everyone, looking forward to the Rugby Summer Camp 2011!!!

Mir hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt / Training war sehr gut vorbereitet / die Freizeit war gut eingeteilt / es war etwas wenig gesundes dabei/ die Trainer waren aus Wales, leider nicht aus Frankreich / ALLES WAR GUT!!!

Anika:

- gute Organisation; super motivierte Trainer, die die Kinder begeistert haben; Helfer, die sich aufeinander verlassen konnten; tolles Wetter; tolle Kinder, die meistens mitgemacht haben und viel Spaß hatten
- für nächstes Jahr wünsche ich mir genauso super Kinder; engagierte Trainer; und vielleicht ein oder zwei Helfer mehr

Even i couldn't participate the whole week, it was really a pleasure again to be involved. I especially like to thank Johanna for all the work and organisation that made that week possible.
a few points
- organisation was great: the staff was fantastic, reliable as always, I really enjoyed to work in such a great team, especially with my teammates from the women's team like Dana or Anika.
- the idea of preparing the food alone was successfull and lunch and dinner were better than last year.
- coaching team: great work from our coaches and the Ospreys Team, kids learned a lot about rugby in a joyful environment
- good idea to integrate the IRB course into the camp: it made organisation (lunch etc.) a lot easier

just an addition:
For next year it would be great if there could be one or two more from the men's team who would help during the day...

The camps were a great experience, for me it was great opportunity to share my knowledge of rugby with all of the children and seniors. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and willing to learn from us. A big thanks to everyone for organising everything and giving me the chance to have this amazing experience.
